Hi everyone,

I am having trouble with the doxycycline promoter (I am from the UK) and the gene promoter. It was working on me back in 2001 and my sister thought it would work better than taking the doxycycline for a period of time. I was prescribed doxycycline 1 hour before I went to bed because I did not want to do the whole day. I got this feeling when I was taking the first dose and thought it was a side effect. The doxycycline was the problem! I tried a different drug called doxycycline in the evening but it had no effect. It did have an effect but was only a temporary effect. My sister is now on doxycycline but I don't want to be in hospital and have to go to the doctor and see if it will help her. So my question is, will this really work? Thanks in advance for the advice

I take a few doxycycline 1 hour before going to bed. I don't know if the reason is due to some side effect or something, but I am curious how it works. I am wondering if anyone has any experience or thoughts on what I should be taking before I go to the doctor. I know that I can get it in the morning, but the day I go, it is the night. I would like to make a decision based on what I want to do in the evening. So far, I have been trying to make sure that my side effects are not affecting the drug. But as far as I am concerned, I am willing to do it if I need to. My questions are, will this really work? Should I try it on me and see if I can get it in the morning or is there a better option?

I'm on a low dose of 1mg, but it does help some. I was going to start taking this, but I can't do it the same way that I am on the doxycycline. I just took the 1mg daily and it helped my blood tests to work, but I just can't do it. Any other ideas on what I should take before I go to the doctor? Thanks.

I am on doxycycline 1 hour before going to bed

I was taking 1mg for 4 days after taking my last dose. I was on the 1mg a day and I got the same results. The doxycycline was working fine. My sister is not going to know anything, so I am trying to be as gentle as possible in case I need to take it. I hope it helps anyone else who has been taking it.

Hi,

Thanks for the information, I will try it and see if it helps my symptoms. But I have to do the side effect tests to make sure that it doesn't go away. I am now taking doxycycline 1 hour before I go to the doctor, and I am having side effects. My sister is not going to know anything. I have read that you can take doxycycline for 2 days to see if it works, but I have no idea how to take it for that. I can take it for a few days if it's the right thing to do.

Thanks again.

Good luck!

I'm just trying to get the side effects gone. My sister was taking this for a while. She is in a hospital for a short time and it seems to be working well. I would be careful with my dose if it doesn't work. I've been taking it for a few days now and the doxycycline was working, but I couldnt tolerate the 2.5mg dose. It's just that I am worried about my side effects, I just can't seem to get them to go away.

Thanks again!

I did not take this because I was not sure if it was working or not. I just got the last dose I had.
